How’s your holiday season going?

Hey everyone,

I’m so glad you’re here!

Thanksgiving was last week, Christmas is less than three weeks away, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Eid, all looming on the horizon. (You probably didn’t need me to remind you of that, did you?)

This time of year is SUCH a whirlwind—lots of time spent giving to others. If you’re like me, your calendar is crammed with baking, cooking, spending time with family and friends, decking the halls. Let’s be honest: It can all feel a bit much at times, at least for me.

Consider this your reminder to put time on your calendar for YOURSELF. Whatever you choose to do to recharge your batteries, now is the time to make space for that. Read a book, watch a cheesy Hallmark movie, go for a walk in the woods. And, no surprise here, I practice self-care by cooking (along with all of the above.) Soups and stews are a go-to at this time of year; something quick, nourishing, and soothing. Tonight, I’m making a butternut squash soup with coconut milk and chipotle peppers. The vibrant orange color is so cheery!

And of course there’s always Lucky Dog Farm lamb, perfect for stews or shepherd’s pie, curries, spicy lamb meatballs—Get yours Here!

Whatever you’re doing, whatever you’re cooking, I hope that you’ll find just a smidge of peace and joy in everything you’re doing. Let me know how you’re taking care of yourself. I love to hear from you! Shoot me an email at LuckyDogFarm17@gmail.com and stay in touch!

Warmly, Farmer Judith
