Delicious Lamb—It all starts with the soil.
Hi there—I’m so glad you’re here. Truly.
I’m a regenerative farmer, which means I farm with the whole ecosystem in mind. By focusing on healthy soils and diverse pastures, I’m not just feeding my sheep—I’m rebuilding the land, improving water cycles, and creating habitat for all kinds of life. When the soil is alive and thriving, everything else—sheep included—follows.
In my off-farm professional life, I get to share this knowledge with other farmers. I want to see farms thrive for the long haul. When we help each other build healthy soils, we’re making sure this land can keep feeding flocks, families, and communities for generations.
This summer’s been especially rough. With so little rain, many farmers are already dipping into the hay meant for winter. Here at Lucky Dog Farm, though, the pastures are holding strong—and I swear the lambs grow bigger every time I look. I’m not bragging—honestly, I’m amazed at how much of a difference a few simple changes have made for the health of both soil and sheep.
That’s really what it’s all about: healthy land and healthy animals, working together to bring you incredibly flavorful, nutrient-dense lamb.
